Sausage Manicotti

This interesting combinations of flavors is something that our entire family absolutely devours, especially after a long day of sports or activity. It is packed with carbs and protein, which makes it a great choice for a meal when we have been at it hard all day and everybody is very hungry!

Ingredients for a pasta dish including jumbo shells, pork sausage, shredded cheese, cottage cheese, Prego traditional sauce, and mild taco sauce on a wooden cutting board.

1 Pound Breakfast Sausage
1 Box Large Shells
1 Jar Pasta Sauce
1 Container Cottage Cheese
1 cup Taco Sauce
2 cups Colby Jack (Shredded)

Preheat Oven to 350 degrees

Cook Jumbo Shells per package directions for Al Dente, drain and rinse with cool water. Set aside.

Brown Sausage and drain. Add cottage cheese, taco sauce, and pasta sauce and mix well. Spoon mixture into shells and place into glass 9x13” pan. Pack tightly. When pan is full you can top shells with remaining mixture, and sprinkle Colby Jack on top.

Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until cheese is well melted.
