Turkey Bacon Cheese Panini

This recipe has been new to our crew but the kids love anything with bacon (who doesn’t) so it has been a big hit. This is a quick and protein packed meal.

1 Pound Smoked Turkey Deli Meat
1 Pound Bacon
1 Loaf thick cut bread
6 Slices Swiss or Provolone Cheese

Cook bacon to crispy in skillet or griddle of choice, drain and blot fat. Dice bacon and turkey up and cook and combine together until hot. Lightly butter one side of 2 slices of bread and add filling and slice of cheese and grill until golden brown on both sides and cheese is melted.

Makes 6 large sandwiches. Our smaller children eat a half and adults eat a full sandwich. This recipe has just under 50 grams of protein per serving! Served with steamed or raw vegetables, can also add sliced avocado to sandwich.
